        A session targeting smoothhounds and bass resulted in the capture of a new Isle of Wight shore record stingray weighing 47lb 11oz for Andrew Wenden.

        Andrew was an hour into a Western Wight AC night shore competition fishing with two fresh jellyfish 50 yards out on a 4/0 hook and 40lb trace when the big ray took at 1am.
