John Shaw Stretch Chesterfield Canal Worksop

I am in a match in 2 weeks time,
any tips welcome please, as I havn’t been fishing long.

this stretch is usually chop worm and caster tight to far bank on pole but the stretch has not fished well at all this year.

Now its gone cold the canal should be gin clear – unless your peg has a fair bit of cover, I would be tempted to fish a small waggler tight to far bank for chub with casters as the wont come under the pole and a chop worm/caster line down the track for anything you can catch
