        Interesting story from BBC website:

Personally I think the story makes US anglers sound like a bunch of pillocks. Killer!!!! Pike. For F*CK sake what a load of tosh. What about KILLER CORMORANTS who cause far more damage then a few Pike,

            Usual BBC effort.

I’d put the EA guy in a senior position in the immigration dept. if I could.

I like the comment “These fish are not native to Cornwall”
He has never fished at Porth res then!
The lads fishing the festival this week will have plenty of Pike problems during the matches.

The EA guy needs to get another job and the BBC need to report on real problems and real news

Nothing is native to Cornwall except pasties, pirates, tin and very loose women.

Just to clarify Tony, when I lived in down there 12 years ago, there were no pike in Cornwall. As I left there were rumours of illegally stocked pike in Porth (which I used to fish regularly)but now they are plagued with them. Also, if memory serves, Par duck pond is very small and shallow, you could cast a bomb across it, but did have loads of silvers in it.

a few pike is a lake is NATURAL for the eco-system to be balanced

partly the reason why there are so many carp diseases etc because commercials generally have no predatation
