  Team england ladies are in 8th place,and 8 points off 2nd place.so all to play for today.

  Day One results for the 2013 Ladies World Angling Championships in Slovenia attached, and team results below.
  
  It looks a tremendous venue – England had 45 kilos and were eighth.
  
  It does look the sort of venue you can come back on – seems to me looking through that England had it about right – they were not battered by anyone near them really and perhaps a slightly better draw can see them claw back a few places.
  
  Interesting also how Spain obviously fished it differently and are in third – look how many fish they caught… if it fishes harder they could shine.

  Great second day effort from the girls – they did it without a single section win just a top team performance and good to see Sam Simms bounce back after a tough first day with a section third. Team results below and full results attached….
