Lake near M18 J3 (Doncaster)

Does anyone know what the lake/ fishery is that is visible from the M18 northbound, just before junction 3, near Doncaster?

I don’t suppose you’ve fished it at all or know anything about it (other than that it looks very exposed to the elements)!

Gary, if by ‘the elements’ you mean that it is exposed to the traffic noise from the A1, the M18 and associated junction then I agree. There aren’t any trees either.

The website refers to neither road and they even managed to get two photos of the place without the motorways in shot.

No particular reason for asking, just pure curiosity as we always drive past it when I am on my way to Doncaster station to get the train back to London.
