TF_ebbwmiloCheers, have got a Trabucco 2 section one at the moment. Its strong as hell but a little heavy and too long with 2 sections on but too short with 1

pellethead76ebbwmilo get the drennan 3.5m extra strong landing net pole and put either the smallest mossella rubber landin net head on it or the small diawa rubber net head and u can scoop fish for england with this set up. the landing net pole has a smooth finish on it so it glides through your hands

TF_ebbwmilothanks pellet, I’m using the mosella rubber nets at the moment. The Drennan sounds like a cracking pole

TF_stu.sI’ve been using the drennan 3.5m extra strong for a few weeks now and can honestly say it is the stiffest, strongest landing net handle i have ever seen,it is not very light but does that really matter?

Daddy BParticipantMart and others, had exactly the same experience with the Daiwa Tournament – total waste of money. Been using a Milo Chromium 3.9m for the last 18 months or so and fits the bill perfectly for my fishing, long and stiff enough to net fish quickly at full length, without being unwieldy.

TF_ebbwmiloI bought a netsy after, I used it this weekend and was very impressed with it.

TF_maxwell_hungI’ve had a Chromium 3.9m too for about the last 12 months. Spot on at both full length or with one section off for short netting.

TF_big jakeParticipantWil Raison’s been using drennan extra strong for a while, but in the latest match fishing he is using something with a speed tip. however the carbon weave on the long sections appear to be the same as the drennan. anyone shed any light on the make and model he was using?

TF_mart4666matty p.i’ve got the origonal daiwa tournie handle, about 4 yrs old. thats ok but weighs a ton and not balanced. wot i’ve just bought and broke 1st time out is the new “improved” 6 in 1 tournie. been back to fishin republic where bought and they say had loads go same place and waiting for daiwa to send more out.i dont think i,ve had a “bad” one i think they all weak as water. daiwa must know theyre rubbish . SURELY. like been said y does will raison not use one then, instead using a drennan .

TF_craigothe original tournament handle is heavy but is like durable jim – reyt good for carp bagging – mines had some proper hammer and is still going strong
