Anyone know if any lakes will be free at larford on friday?

Im off to Brum to collect a new seatbox so thought i may as well use the trip to go to larford for the first time.

Also any info on the lakes and how to go about fishing them would be helpful

        Thanks

            Hi Jonni.
You can get on most lakes on Fridays,Arena is fishing very well pegs 14 to 18 or mid 30s.
Match lake is doing well with pellet wag.

Thanks mate. I’m gonna fish match lake as arena has a match.

I was just gonna fish the pole, I don’t really have a waggler rod suitable for commercials, they are silver fish rods.

Can anybody give me any more info on match lake? Does it respond to the method?

                Jonni.
The match lake does respond to the method the burr bank is the best, near to the island, also the pole fished shallow or paste down the edge.
I think the peg numbers are around 64-70s.these pegs always do well in our matches.

Just looked at the aerial photo of the lake, which bank is burr bank? the one with specimen lake beside it or the opposite bank?

What baits are working down there at the minute?

Ive heard its stacked with fish, so looking for a good day, probably fish the method tight to the island and a short pole line.

                    Jonni.
Burr bank is the one with speci lake behind you,
opposite bank is called the grassy bank.
Pellet and corn always works well, paste and meat down the side. You will have a great days fishing it is stacked with fish, all the best mate let me know how you get on.
