Lee Kerry took top spot in this, the third bloodworm allowed Evesham Championship qualifier, with a 10-8-0 net of roach and perch from end peg 87. Lee caught a busy net of small roach and perch on bloodworm and joker tactics, and boosted his weight with a 10oz chublet on waggler and maggot.
Pole Fishing’s own Matt Godfrey came in second with 9-14-0 from peg one – the opposite end peg to his England teammate. Matt also caught some roach and perch on bloodworm, but also added to his net with hundreds of small bleak, that he caught on a short pole line, feeding slop and fishing pinkie.
Hadrian Whittle had some quality roach for his third place 8-0-0 net from peg 49. Hadrian caught good roach on bloodworm, fished on the long pole over a bed of groundbait, joker and soil.
