        Fishing in match next sunday wondering if anybody could give me some tips on fishing it please.

          small maggot feeder up to islands . If you draw in any of the gaps even better. Our match was won with 46lb on the feeder off peg 42 last saturday. Hope this helps

              Small method feeder with swimstim, dead red maggot or hair rigged corn cast to island.
              Your mostly after f1’s.
              Feeder must be inline type not elasticated.

                We were also on bonsai on sat, pegs 56 to 80. 84lb won it from peg 69, floating pole and caster. 2nd was peg 68 with 57lb again floating pole and caster. I was 3rd with 45lb from peg 61, fishing GB feeder upto island with meat. Dont bother with the PVA bags, they are mainly small fish, nothing much above 2lb caught in our match. I had plenty of fish upto and below a pound. Hope this helps.

                  what’s with the feeder? I thought Fannies had a floating pole only rule 😉

                    I think I have been a bit lucky to be honest, most of the venues this year have been venues where fp hasnt figured too much.
                    How is it going/gone with the Lion? you had a good result at ranskill so I hear.

                      All in all a fairly p*ss poor year to be honest.My head aint really been on it & you just can’t compete in the Lion on 3 cylinders.(thats my excuse & I’m sticking to it :-))
                      Nice to see the Rat-catcher & Dennis are joining next year.
                      That Ranskill’s a cracking venue tho Doc.

                          floating pole is towards the island, but we have a 16mtr limit, so they couldnt reach the islands
