TF_MatchcarpWell we don’t like lazy types on here, much prefer those who choose to use the queenβs English so please cease typing in this way immediately :p
You don’t say what you want the line for; is it to be used for reel line, rig line, or trace line. The particular line you quote suggests you require a good reel line and as it happens this is my first choice also. I have heard very good things about Daiwa Sensor however so you might like to try that one.
Hope this helps, you lazy type you π -

TF_Matchcarptench0771 – Yes I have found all Guru products to be good, it’s the N gauge line you want for pole rigs not the drag line. Nick Gilbert is also doing some nice stuff, I have tried the “Fortex” line and found it to be good.
matcharse – Stop being one, it’s called banter however I refuse to get in to a battle of wits against an unarmed man so I’ll leave you alone!!!

TF_matchacetench before you start spending fortunes mate try the products
your better off mate asking on the bank what people use
and what SIZE of fish you intend to catch
bigger fish bigger diameters
i have over 50 rigs made up of different lines made by BROWNING
it has never failed me yet touch wood
make your own choice mate knot strength etc
this is the most important part of anyone’s fishing dont let anyone kid you
you can the best pole money can buy
the best seat box etc
but if have the wrong lines etc its game over if you keep cracking off mate
and that aint funny
also the venues are they snaggy or just square pools like woodlands
i fish real fine diameters at woodlands but i will up the anty some 3 fold on a snaggy ponds
just food for thought mate consider carefully what you want and why ask the questions to your self and others -

TF_CriagH66Matcharse. Very funny. LOL.
Always used Maver Dualcore until they changed something (possibly manufacturer) and it descended from No1 to total sh*te overnight.
Then had a good run with Maver Jurassic, until recent, when 0.18 and 0.20 started snapping like cotton.
I have every intention of stripping my spools today. But what to replace with? Definitely not Maver.
Not keen on Browning. And unlike some don’t get fooled into single brand culture whether sponsored or not.
GURU drag is interesting. As Tench0771 said, their hooks and in truth, whole range of products sit firmly on the side of quality. Might be the way forward.Matchcarp. Completely on side with maintaining high standards of speech, written English and punctuation. Where would this great country be without the more erudite of its people prepared to lift our young illiterates from their ignorant slumber. π

TF_MarkVWB Clarke/Silstar matchteam. Keep it simple. Use it for the lot except feeder lines.
