line for margin fishing

what line and diameter do you all ue for fishing down the edge, i was using stroft 0.20 but it keeps breaking between the float and dacron connector so im not happy

Sensor in 6lb or 8lb BS. I think any “normal” reel line rather a pre-stretched. If you do need to use one of the latter then i suggest W.B.Clarke match team, 0.20 is 7.9lb BS.

i use reflo power line 0.19 for margin fishing near snags or 0.17 if im not never had a problim with it

What knot are you using to tie your loop needs to be figure of eight , I use shimano silk shock now , found stroft kinked to easy when you used a disgorger
