TF_Dave PelletI would guess they’d be best suited to enhance your “solid” feed, ie. a cup of chop & caster with a squirt of the liquid
this will form a cloud from the surface to the deck & should concentrate the fish on the bottom (as they’d follow the scent down)
when I’m fishing chop I usually prepare a large amount of feed at the start, ie worms, caster, hemp & sometimes micropellets, and add to this a little water & the liquid additiveThen, I use this to feed every bung via a toss pot
Occassionally I’ll dump in a cup of chopped worm with no additives, just to see if I can gauge any difference in the fishes response -

brummie daveParticipantIf you’re fishing pellet and meat, I’d feed a pot of pellet to start, and follow it up with a big pot full of liquid feed.
Go over it at full depth and rely on the feed pellet for fish attraction.
Every put-in, feed a little bit more liquid through a toss pot, and keep fishing the same until you see swirls or start to get liners.
This is a sign that there are plenty of fish attracted by the liquid, and it’s time to start catching them!
As the liquids hang in the water for such a long time, it’s common that fish will come up in the water to find the feed.
Bag- up time!
You can use meat or pellet on the hook, but keep a bit of liquid going in every put-in. If you’re using meat, try soaking some cubes for half an hour, and use them as both feed and on the hook.
Think of liquid feeds as you would “slop” that you use when paste fishing- only it’s even more sloppy!
Keep it going in, and the fish will come. It usually takes 20 minutes to half an hour to get them, but they stick around as long as the liquids are going in.
Which ones are you using?
And did I deliver them?
Let me know how you go! -

brummie daveParticipantFeed it little and often and they will almost always come up in the water to find it.
Please bear in mind that you need to feed some pellet, caster or whatever as well.
if you don’t, the fish will start searching for the food which they can sense, and be unable to find anything, leading to fizzing as they mop up the silt.
As you know, when this happens, they can be a sod to catch! -

brummie daveParticipantOh, Dave R- try not to think of these liquids as flavours- they’re so much more thab that.
Think of them as liquid groundbait, that sinks slowly- like groundbait slop, only VERY sloppy!
In shallow water (up to about 3′), I’ve had some success feeding nothing but GP365, and fishing paste over it. BUT- I’m not the best paste angler in the world (in fact I’m pants at it!), so I’d love to see a real expert doing it.
