Hi lads, I’ve a match here this Sunday and having never seen the place i ain’t a clue how to approach it.

All I’ve been told is that it’s upto 25ft deep in places but has loads of silvers!

        Any info kindly appreciated~think

Depths vary between 7 & 9ft deeper at bowl end pegs 1-5 & 34-38. These pegs should produce the winner although it has been known to come from other end depending on what the wind has been doing.
Most methods work but either pole shallow or pellet waggler should be best. Decent nets can be caught on the deck but if wind is ok a shallow approach should win.
Pellet or meat best baits although paste good too. Ask Bill the owner he is usually on the ball and doesn’t tell porkies, look at the website http://www.lodgefarmfisheries.co.uk for contact details & other information.

Bradders, don’t believe that your match is mainly going to be silvers as there is a good head of carp from stockies through to 20+ aswell.
