Report:
The Thursday KOBRA Open was switched to Lizard, the only ice free lake on Phase 2 of Dynamite Baits Makins, and even then there was floating ice for the first two hours.
Long Eaton’s Dave Kent (peg 12) was the only angler to find carp, and his three fish catch taken on corn presented on the waggler gave him a clear win with 11 lb 15 oz.
There was a three way tie for second place, with John Adamson (Kobra Feeders), Eddie Keene (Coventry) and Gaz Wood (Browning Central) all landing 4 lb 4 oz of ‘silvers’.
Next week’s Thursday Kobra Open (28 January) will also be on Lizard, drawing at 9.30am.
