Anyone else having problems with the changable blades.
My 6mm and 8mm blades have disintegrated after a season of use!!!
The blue plastic which the metal blades sit in, seem to have gone brittal and pulled away.
Quite expensive for such a short times use!
        Anyone else getting this problem?

Bought mine a year ago, just checked it and it’s fine! Yours hasn’t been left in the extreme cold over winter in a garage that’s made the plastic go brittle, or in a window has it??

Mine is fine, cleaned properly and kept in doors, a mate had the same problem as the poster and it turned out he didnt clean it properly after use and we think the oils in the meat might have affected the plastic ?

Yeah i wash them with the lake water after cutting and now and again put them in the dishwasher, it must be the ‘not washing them proper’. The oil breaking them down does sound believable!, think i will buy some new ones and look after them better 🙂 cheers for the heads up you lot 😀
