Match-fishing on TV (UK Champs)

Well i have been around a while, and been on here a bit too, and one subject that comes up every year is match fishing on TV.
I was given the opportunity to take over the UK Champs 5 years ago, and the one ambition i had was to get it on TV.
The second year i did just that, and its been on since. Its a 4 round series, at 4 venues over 4 months. 80 anglers top 40 stay in the comp, the bottom 40 get eliminated and have to re qualify if they wish to fish the following year.
The first round is on Sky Sports 3 tonight at 10.30, and each week for 4 weeks, many repeats.
1st round is from Larford, Enjoy.

Nige you are the man superb work on the UK champs and everything else you get involved in. Yours was always going to be a top fishery knew it the first time I saw it all those many, many years ago.

Brilliant tv viewing, there was some fantastic camara work, floats going under and tips going round etc.Rob Hughes and Micky Vials presented the show very professionally and all the angles that were interviewed were a credit to our sport a big well done to Nige and Sky Sports.

The final round is on Sky Sports 4 at 6:30 pm tomorrow 12/11/13. It’s been great viewing, well with watching.
