        Records Tumble As England Lose
Match anglers who opted to fish the Sonu Baits Individual Championships at Woodland View instead of watching the England game against Germany were rewarded with some fantastic fishing, with the top five all weighing in over 180lb and no-one less than 90lb.
It was a record breaking match for the Hadley fishery, with two anglers taking over 270lb to the scales topped by Shirley based angling coach Ian Boden, with a new venue record of 285-5-0. Ian drew peg 13 on High Pool where he fished pellets and corn down the edge for carp to 10lb. In an incredible match, second placed angler Ian Wood also broke the venue record with 275-6-0 from Deans Pool.
