Couldn’t make this week but will try and get to some others. Just wondered what the entry fees are. Also is there a postcode for the fishery?

The Saturday match was won with 115lb. I drew the golden peg (no fix honest)and was second with 90lb. There is another one this Saturday. Costs are £10 day ticket, £1 golden peg and £14 pools. I have spoken to the owners and they are willing to reduce the day ticket cost for the rest of this year for both open matches and club bookings. The final cost will be decided this week and are likely to be reduced to £5.

Vince G, the post code for the fishery is DA2 7QY. There is a club house on site that does a mean breakfast. Nets are provided and there are now 2 golden pegs running. One at £200 and the other at £78. Providing 10 anglers fish then the £200 one kicks in, if not then the smaller one applies.

Can you give me any idea of what methods are catching at the moment. Don’t want to turn up totally un-prepared

vince, most pegs are about 6ft on average, from under your feet to tight over, which is about 12 mtrs on most pegs, corn and soft pellet work,as will paste, the carp average 4lb and fight like hell, you dont need nets,
thats keep and landing nets, and its very much a fair water with no flyers on.

The Saturday Match was won by Kev Dyer with 129-8 from peg 1. Peg 15 was 2nd with 85-8 and 3rd was 84-12. The £200 golden peg is still safe. There is no match this Saturday due to the Charity match at Hartleylands.
