Match tactics this weekend

I’ve got a match this weekend, the water is stocked with everything but apparently ide and carp make up the most of the big weights. What sort of tactics should i employ to target them? I think meat and catfood are popular with the carp but is it getting a bit cold for these baits now?

Feed casters all the time, maggot on the hook.Fish on the bottom then shallow in the same swim, don’t let a minute go by in between feeding. You might not win but you’ll catch a sh1t load.

Cheers, i take it this is the main attack for the ide? do you think it will be too cold for meaty baits?

No meat can work right through the winter, try a seperate swim with it but only drip it in.
