Appreciate any help with this please. Just bought this box as I’ve changed car and it’s more compact but where do you store winders with the standard box?
The brochure seems to call the under seat shallow draw a winder unit but then also accessories but none of my matrix winders fit this in any sensible way. There’s the shallow draw unit but I’d need to buy another one or two of these just for winders and again winders don’t fit particularly snugly so there’s wasted space
I’m obviously missing a trick somewhere – what do current superbox owners do?
        Thanks

          Ian,

I have the same predictment, all my winders are now stored in plastic storage box which I carry in my carryall.

I have just ordered a shallow tray unit from Matchman supplies which I hope will plug the gap. I wonder is this overisight on behalf of Matrix.

It is shame really as otherwise I am really happy with the box.

Apparently the wider draws from the Fox msb box also fit.

However maybe I missing something too?

You know; this is what’s confusing me! The one that comes under the seat is a single DRAWER unit I think, which it says is for winders. But I ain’t seen any winders that will fit those fixed partitions. But if you search for the box on the net and look at images, there is 1 images that seems to show a drawer with fitted winders. So have you ordered a single drawer or a single tray unit? The extra storage that comes under the box as standard is a single TRAY unit with a spacer unit in the middle (making it deeper). But the description on the link you sent says tray unit but description is drawer…. very confusing… I bought 2 packs of Matrix winders that already come fixed in trays and these fit in the single tray unit ok but again not snugly fitted ie a meaning wasted space. Getting a couple extra single tray units was what I was thinking I’d have to do but I’m sure there must be some way that winders will properly fit in!!!
            Thanks for replying anyway

              Ian,

I think and hope there is difference between the single drawer unit and the single tray unit. Certainly if you look at the drop arrow on matchman suplies there is clear difference.

One is partioned and one is not.

Very confusing agree, hopefully others can help.

The trays will fit 2 winder trays (Preston standard trays 15cm), there is still a gap between the trays but no movement, personally I love the box, but the single draw units are pretty pointless, much the same as my previous Rive d36 shallow draw.
