I have just taken delivery of a Maver Invincible 13m. It looks impressive but how strong is it? I have put some 25 Hollow in but can I go much heavier? Will it take shorter sections of 25 elastics or is that too much for it.
Also has anybody used it yet as a line to hand pole? I plan to get over to ireland and was thinking would it be good enough to use for this style of fishing?
        Cheers

I have one since it came out, use it as a back up to my 401 over here when the wind gets up just change pole from no5 down and ‘bobs your tea pot’.

Have fished 25hollow over here for WILD carp in Galmoylestown in Mullingar and landed carp to 7 or 8lb on a top kit with 25 hollow in the stick ups, no messing about with adding sections. Just swing them in and pay no attention to their whinging.

It is the strongest pole I have used in the last 20 years. Its a bit heavy at 13m to fish to hand and its rare nowadays to have to fish to hand in Ireland but I could fish it comfortably to hand at 11.5m but Im a big lad.

Im thinking of upgrading to the 14.5m powerlite invincible but as of yet im not sure as I dont know what sections are interchangeable with competition poles. As it is the invincible top5 are fully interchangeable with all competition models.

          Hope that helps

I contacted a seller about the power lite and he said its made in China unlike the Invincible and none of the section are interchangeable. I was dissappointed, but got the invincible and cannot believe how strong it is. Its my margin and baggin pole now, 401 for sunday best.

Thats interesting Matt. i did not even think those sections would fit. I presume they will fit my Elite 77 in the same way?
