Maver M47 and N57 compatibility

I’m fairly certain they’re not compatible.

I owned an M47 and the N57 was brought out at least a year later and was a lot different/stronger pole.

I had a N57 and although I’m not sure about the strength being any different to the M series I believe that the mandrel was totally different with a revised taper to increase stiffness/balance.

SORRY not really a definitive answer but i thought the 47’s were ALL cut on the same slightly slimmer mandril.

The 57’s being cut on completely different wider mandril.

I used a K47 for years before moving up to the N47 every section from these two poles interchanged
None of my sections have ever fitted my mates older 57 poles tho!

Maybe contact Maver direct and ask the same question before you buy!!

They were deffo not compatible, as others have said totally different madrels.

The tops don’t fit but I am led to believe the the 57 poles do fit the newer competition pole top kits.

Dont fit defo.

Thats why i changed from n47 to 401.
