I don’t think maver are replacing the signature this year but it sounds like a very good pole. Would be grateful for your forts on it

I’ve got the 600 and thinks it’s great…..well compared to my old pole it is!

I have the 800 and been using it for the past 3 months. Its a very very good pole. Its light and stiff and is very well balanced. The pre bushed powerlite kits are very good. I havent had and big fish on it yet ( biggest is about 3lb so far due to the venues I fished ) so cant give an honest answer to strength as yet. Its not an out and out carp cruncher pole but im sure there will be no issues for sensible match carping.

I was lucky enough to go to Fosters with no budget and choose the 800 over Air, Airity, Prox, 901,801,superlegion,acolyte, z12 and signature 1000.

The difference is minimal between the 800 and 1000 at 16m and at 14.5 you would be hard pushed to tell. For the price I dont think there is a better pole out there in my opinion.

Well done Tench0771, you review something you haven’t picked up??, big round of applause.

And no, Maver haven’t replaced or are planning to replace the Signature this year. In fact, Maver have only released 2 top end poles (above 2K) in the past 5 years, the 88 and the Signature 1000. I could swear Daiwa have brought out more (Airity, X Pro, Air and the 2015 TP)……………………But don’t let facts get in the way of your opinion, hey??.

To the OP, The 800 is a very good bit of kit, the head sets are spot and the best I’ve used. I’m yet to see anyone disappointed or a bad review.
