Guys, got a club match on Meadow View’s Linnet pool in a couple of weeks and need all the help I can get after a very bad run in recent weeks (blew up on Cudmore yesterday……).

Anyone got the lowdown on methods, rules, bans etc to help me put a proper weight together?

you cant really do much on here everythin is banned, but you can banned pellets, you might catch on pellets shallow in the middle pegs but you will be lookin to catch down the edge and at 6m again on pellets feeding 4mms and fishing a soft or hard 6mm on the hook.

            max hooksize is a 14s

and there are afew 20lb ers in there and the do get caught.

i will be on the open so if you draw your peg i can tell you more on the day

Have to say whilst local knowledge and whats the in bait and method help, the biggest thing is to fish to your strengths when you are having a bad run.

I would take on board the local feedback but make sure you limit your attack and focus on what your good at. Nothing worse on a bad run than covering all angles and doing none properly.

Can’t help with latest info though as it was 2 years ago I last fished it – was up in the water, splashing, cupping and tapping with pellet then!
