Can anyone on here tell me how meadowlands has been fishing in the last 2 weeks. What have the match weights been like , are the backing weights any good , are they consistant?? What methods have been scoring??

Hi Lee,fished an open match there last sunday with 20 odd anglers on it..it fished pretty good mate..top 3 all had 70 + lb from the far side,i was 4th with 60 lb from the road side bank..nearly everyone caught a few mate with backing weights of 50’s and 40’s all round.

there was an open on there last thursday and i know it was won with 90+ lb.
They’re holding opens every thurs and sunday now mate.

I’d heard pellet wag was catching but the open that i fished on the sunday was mainly straight lead with hair rigged pellet feeding pellet over the top at about 30 yards..Some anglers caught carp caught on the pole,i had 3 carp on the pole late on but mainly it was the straight lead that did the damage.
