Del apparently the two amigos fished top on monday one on lake one in back spit had 100lb between em two others on lake with em who had two fish each. So with 24 on sunday on it who nos WHAT WILL HAPPEN.LOOKING INTO MY CRYSTAL BALL THERE COULD BE SOME BLANKERS LOL ESPECIALLY WHEN OTHER LAKES ARE AVAILABLE??????????????

Great Woodpecker picture Pikey,its a wonder their’s any wood left,the old geezer chopping it down never seems to go home.
Didn’t think much to fishing Johns lake till i saw the skimmers, it wont be long till they are propper bream,something to look foreward to,thats if they can be caught of more than one end of the lake.

Nothing fancy Tel double red maggot over a fishmeal GB. Tried soft pellet a few times but no bites. Took me back to my old silverfish and canal days!! A very enjoyable few hours fishing.

Toplights thats exactly what I thought it could be a top water. I have also wondered if the fish are shoaled up in one area. If I cant get on the league match Sunday I will be giving it another go further up. Hopefully they will be well spread out. Also a couple of the bigger ones had the spawning tubercles on the head which is a promising sign..
