Messingham Swan – New Bit….Carpicus help

Fished the main pond swan pond frequently, but never the ‘new bit’. Wondered if anyone can shed any light on the pond. Is it still pellet and wag, method and lead or can you catch on the pole line? Any info greatfully received

Stay at home in bed mate. You will be lucky to do 20lb. Was there wednesday 14lb won on pellet.

Have u been yet? if not u want to be on the golf coarse side its deeper fish no further than 9 – 10 mtrs the corner pegs should win it though,as long as u don’t put the end pegs in,also the more people on it the worse it tends to fish… on the golf coarse side fish top 4 loose feed omiga pellet also long with pellet, if u have got an island chuck a bomb and pellet look for sand bars as well.

Fished it today. Peg 23, on the end….. Came second with 44lb, 23 won it with 69lb. Caught plenty of fish but strangely only 2-3lb mark. Winner had had 5-8lb mark with two double. Suprised I fished corn and meat down one side and pellet and paste the other. He fished corn over caster. Lake as a whole fished terrible, most not breaking 10lb….
