method banned? what about in line pellet feeder?

I have been using guru in-line pellet feeders with good results. Yesterday my match was at a fishery where the method is banned. I showed the organiser the feeder, and he said it would be ok.
Has anyone been told NOT to use these on a method ban venue?
BTW I notice walters lake (next saturdays venue cockerneys v yokels) has a method ban, can one use these feeders there?

Simon, the definition of a method feeder, is a feeder with the groundbait on the out side, rather than a feeder with the groundbait on the inside.

Obviously we now have feeders and pellet feeders that we can fish with elastic and short hooklenths like we do when we fish the method.
