Snoots is right mate.
I used a heavy feeder rod with 8lb sensor and a .19 4″ hooklink on a Kobra brass neck 25g method with purple laccy.
I was chucking a good 30 yrds further than everyone else and started off like a train- but those that fed and fished closer got stronger as the match wore on. They moved in and I couldnt keep in touch with them.
In hindsight I didnt need to fish at that distance.
Dont neglect a pole line, last Saturday threw some bif pole weights up on pegs 71-90 when most of us were advised not to bother, bomb and PW.
Method and then pole worked very well in those numbers.
My advice would be start long and feed a shorter line constantly and keep looking over that with a method/Bomb or PW.
Last 90 mins try a 5m pole line thats been fed too.
Top pegs Saturday
97 343lb
88 269lb
