TF_Big FinnParticipantCan someone tell me (maybe WCA), i ordered and received some MW Pellets this morning, the floats that have come are more of a rugby ball shape body and a carbon stem, now according to the website and pellets ive had in the past these should be more of a football type body with a glass stem. these look completely different floats.
Am i alone in thinking this?

TF_NW Cut AnglerSound like slim power re the shape you describe unless Mick has changed his design.

TF_Big FinnParticipantDefo not slim powers as ive had some of them recently.
Ive now attached a picture with both types – There maybe only a little differance in body shapes, but the old ones have got glass stems.

TF_NW Cut AnglerAs you say not slim power but Mick has updated his designs / finishes etc this season so they may simply be a new updated Pellet design.

TF_sumoGot a load myself and they are the same , must admit they do look nice although different to the ones on the website . Website does state they are updating though. Also got cookies & peas in the white mottled paint work and bought some SC Paste and they are longer and thinner than the photos .I assume they are just being upgraded and look forward to trying them out , if you want footy shaped pellet floats try Ackoos as he does that shape.
This site is being updated so a lot of the images are not current. This will be done over the next few days. Also some text is not current so will also be changed.STOCK LOADED 10/8/10
PEAS…..COOKIES…..PELLETS…..DINKY D
Hardcore Technology is now here!
Same shotting capacity as balsa, but greatly increased strength.
Greatly reduced chance of line cutting into body or eyes pulling out.
You can still use traditional side eyes when perfect presentation is required to beat the conditions, knowing that the chance of destroying your float on a hook pull is greatly reduced.
Floats made from this new material will be marked with “HC” before the name on the website.
Pro Core
The perfect compliment to hardcore, 20% more bouyant than the softest balsa but falls in hardness between medium and hard balsa wood.
This material will allow some patterns to be slimmer allowing better striking in good conditions, it is also perfect for winter carp and all types of silver floats where strength is not the prime concern.
Colour changes
As from 15th March2010 all floats made from hardcore will be a unique metallic blue. All pro core floats will be a unique metallic green. Balsa patterns wil be a metalic brown.
All of these colours are uniquely blended and will allow easy identificatin of any fakes.

TF_macca63I received my parcel of Power Diamonds today and notice they no longer come with the lower side eye now they have been updated.
Mick knows how to make floats so if he’s decided the side eye is no longer necessary on the updated version there must be a reason for it.

TF_Wheely Crap AnglerThe designs have been tweeked. If you look on the front page it says…..
“This site is being updated so a lot of the images are not current. This will be done over the next few days. Also some text is not current so will also be changed.”
I can assure you all floats sent out are the correct ones. The stems are black glass not carbon. Hope this answers your concerns.
