Must be a slow weight in…..someone has normally announced something a couple of hours after the finish.

Have to say the venue fished very poor – and imo has done so for the last 3 years under the fish o pressure – there simply arent enough pegs, forcing the fishery mgrs to use nearly every peg on the small pools (e.g. 20 pegs from 21 available on Moors where I was today – a recipe for a very poor day for most); also the pegs are very tight.

Its a shame as Moorlands was excellent several years ago but as it stands I would like to see other venues used in future, perhaps in other areas on the country – after all both Woodland View and Larford and Boldings also have qualifiers so its not like the West Mids with that circa 12 mile radius isnt well represented!

Btw I am a fisho vet and fully understand that were are going “for a draw” – however it would be nice to at least have a chance of days fishing – something that at the moment Moorlands just cannot provide for the majority in this size of competition.
