the 2 identical ponds behind the garden centre office are very shallow, deepest pegs are those on the central walkway between the 2
lots of skimmers & small tench in the 1st one with some small carp including ornamentals, bigger fish in the 2nd one (the one that backs onto the river)
pellet or maggot will get lots of bites
if it’s the small weedy pond you’re on, this is where they’ve got their bigger carp & tench – unlikely there’s a match on there, but you never know
it’s got a small island & lots of weeds, you’ll catch anywhere on here
baits same as 1st, small cubes of meat in the warmer months
the pond up the drive to the left is more carpy than the rest, and I’ve not fished that for a while, but last time I did it was red maggot over groundbait – but as I say it was the colder months so who knows how that’s changed
