        An excellent match with over half the anglers taking part weighed in over 50lb, and also very close at the top with John Darby taking the honours, fishing the pole down the margin because of the strong wind he fished meat on the hook over pellets he caught carp – 9lb all match finishing with a grand total of 108lb 15oz, but he didn’t have it all is own way just 2lb behind was team mate Jason Thomas casting a pellet feeder tight to the lily pads with pellet hook bait he had 106lb 15oz of carp – 5lb

        There’s only going to be one winner when Fred Draws peg 40, fishing is favorite popped up bread he landed 15 carp – 6lb winning with a big margin over John Mosley fishing the pole and meat at peg 41 he had 12lb of skimmers and 3 carp – 12lb.

        It was a peg to peg battle that John Woodland won fishing the pole and meat at peg 19 he caught carp from the off landing fish – 8lb in his net of 88lb 10oz. 2nd placed Craig fished the pole and paste down the margin at peg 20 landing 24 carp – 8lb finishing a couple of fish short with 75lb 14oz.
