TF_Johnny MacObviously you’ve given them every opportunity to rectify their ‘mistake’, by e-mailing and telephoning them.
It’s only when you’ve gone public with their bad service that they’ve had the decency to put things right.Stick to yer guns Jim.

TF_GESTALLpmI have just had bad dealings with this tackle shop as well as recently as last month February 2013. I was searching for cheap tackle to make my own rigs and came across this tackle shop before I had seen the reviews on line, Wished I’d seen them first as I wouldn’t of bothered shopping here.
Placed an order using their on line shop and everything was in stock. Received an e-mail immediately displaying what I had ordered and no anticipated delivery time, so I e-mailed them about this but heard nothing back. Gave them two weeks and again e-mailed them with no response so rang them. I was told one item was out of stock and due in ‘that day’. Heard or received nothing for another week so e-mailed to say that the item didn’t arrive by such and such date tpo send me my order and refund the cost of that item.
The following day I received my items missing 3 completely different items. I e-mailed them straight away only to be told the fell out of the packet and he would send them on the Monday. Thursday came and still no order so again e-mailed to be told this time they were due in in the next hour or so. Tuesday came and still no missing items so I e-mailed explaining that I wanted the missing items or a refund on these items immediately. Haven’t heard anything but got refund on the missing items.
This chap has no idea of communication, which i did tell him and constantly fabricates stories when all the customer wants is the truth and some sort of apology.
Will not be dealing with them again, just wished I had seen the reviews!!! 😡 -

TF_geepsterParticipantThis is an open forum and the shop owner has the right of reply should he wish to utilise it. As of the time of writing I have had no correspondence from them.

TF_Treeceman1Hi there
Well I’m into day 12 of my dealings with Paul Adams and am awaiting delivery of stuff which was initially delayed and then wrong stuff sent.
Others have expressed doubt of the veracity of Mr Adams communications and the forum comments have a horribly familiar ring to my experiences.
They say “any publicity is good publicity” but as someone who has run my own business for 40 years I don’t quite agree with that statement.
I dealt with him via Paypal and that will be my next port of call if I don’t receive a satisfactory outcome to this matter.
I’ll keep you guys updated. -

TF_Treeceman1Hi there
Ok it’s the 25th June and following contact with Paypal I am in receipt of a full refund.
I’m glad it’s sorted but it has , metaphorically speaking, left a rather bad taste in my mouth.I just wanted some fishing tackle and did not bargain with all this stuff.
Way to go – Paypal!

TF_geepsterParticipantI’m glad that’s sorted.
I had an email from the retailer about this and there were certainly extenuating circumstances that are not for me to publish.
I’m now locking this topic.
