Need to replace – Your views?

Need to replace the following items over the comming year as they are on their last legs

landing net handle – currently preston easy reach -7 years old

Waterproofs – currently preston about eight years old

Seatbox – considering fox MSB i like side trays and it has to be light – selling Milo 1100, keeping matchbox for my daughter.

your thoughts please

Landing net: I use a fox conspiracy 3.5mtr handle, I like it a lot but it’s not as stiff as I would like. Drennan 7 series handles are probably the most popular. Other handles to have a look at is the shimano beastmaster ax and the new tricast.

Waterproofs: If your preston gear has lasted that long buy another set ~clap

Seatbox: wise choice with the msb. ~clap

cheers, do you have a fox box, if yes how do you find it.Can you remove the bottom base?

Had the MSB Euro for a couple of weeks now & think i might finally have found a box that i’ll stick with.
Relatively light,very stable & comfortable.
Bought a couple of extra trays & after a bit of trial & error & some draught excluder am now happy with winder storage.Using Rive winders & can store more than in the Rive winder tray.
The side drawer units are going to take a while for me to get right though,but i do like the fact that the insert trays can be removed.The base unit can be removed,so you can build from the frame with trays/drawers if you wish.
All in all well pleased & so far don’t miss the Rive & no longer have cravings for my old Tournament box.lol.
