‘Sex Sells’ could be the brand statement of a New Zealand firm which aims to take its pheromone-enriched baits to a worldwide market.
Time Baits are taking on Berkley’s best selling ‘Gulp’ brand head on with ‘Activate’, a biodegradable offering that they say has the best features of a silicon based sofbait, but with added irresistible scent too.
Inventor Geoff Curley told Tackle Trade World magazine: “Activate has been three years in the making. It has been far from easy as we had to create what we feel is the perfect bait. It took 157 different formulations before we felt that we had cracked it.
“Everyone who is using Activate is telling us that it’s the best bait they have ever used, out-fishing all of its illustrious competitors.â€
