New to course fishing

Hi all. My 10 yr old son has just started to fish.
He is doing good catching a few in our local club.
He only uses maggotts at the moment but he is asking for
Boylies , dyes. Ect for bait…
Can anyone please advise what to purchase for him please?
He wants to make his own bait but dad aint got a clue where to start sorry..
Any advice help would be very much appreciated.

I’ve been fishing more than 50 years and my very best advise is visit your local tackle shop not only are they normally a source of great angling knowledge they can recommend venues to visit.
If he’s really keen it will be like an alladins cave to him buy the best gear you can afford there’s nothing worse than learning to cast or fish generally with cheap rubbish not fit for purpose.
You will find local clubs many normally have junior members also a good way of meeting a fishing buddy.
I still fish with a mate from 50 years ago and most, of all ENJOY.
