I though I would put up a quick post about Nick Gilbert’s floats.
Obviously Nick is not yet a well known float maker but after exchanging a few emails with Nick I finally took the plunge and ordered some dibbers and Paste floats. I was really please with them, so much so that I have just received my second order.
Nick also sent me a sample of his finesse and wire decker floats and they look good as well.
Nick is obviously taking his float making seriously and if he keeps this up will soon become one of the established float maker’s.

What I was pleased about was that I asked for the paste floats to have a 2mm tip rather than the 1.7mm that was advertised on the web site and they where made with no problem.

Yeah the well known float makers like Nick Gilbert etc offer brilliant service and can make changes to a float if you want them to like you’ve had happen which i find very good that they will do that for people.

Thanks for the comments, always like to hear from happy customers. Feedback is always appreciated by mail, pm or on the forum as it helps me to improve and develop the products.

It is easy to adapt the floats I make by changing the tips size or stem length, I can always knock up a few “specials” without too much trouble.
