Yeah, i agree, it would be a good thing to do, but weather i will do it is another thing! It’s one of those things is’nt it? we can all improve and there is no better way than watching some good, or being shown how to do certain things that you may not have done before.
I can walk around our club water and watch folk and think mmmmmmm, i’ll have a go at that next time!
As i fish a lot of rivers for a a good period of the year, when i go back to still waters, there are a lot of things that i may not have done for a while. I’m trying to get my head around paste fishing on the pole at the moment and i could deffo do with some advise on this one! I came away with more questions than answers last time! Any advise greatly received!

Paddy, check out the paste master steve gregory at miracle baits, he has a web site and will do half or full days coaching. Often imitated but no one better imo, his record on paste is second to none.I had a day last year and am going back again next week. I have had coaching from AndyMay,Darren Cox, Steve Ringer, Giles and Alan Scothorne and can endorse them all as first class.
I am sure Nick too is very good. One pointer though, even all these stars struggle when its hard there is no magic just hard work on honed tactics and methods they have perfected and share with you.

Without doubt one of the friendliest and most enjoyable anglers I had the pleasure of working with over the years. Agreed, Nick really does know his stuff and that’s testament to his self-motivation and hard work. He’s a really good bloke and I think that in itself will help him be successful in coaching.

Every time we go fishing we learn something.

Whether or not coaching is worth the fee I guess depends on what level you think you’re at.

Fair play to you for admitting your limitations and trying to do something about them.
