just read keith Arthers article about nick fishing an olivette instead of a bomb.I first saw this method used in the late 80s by a very forward thinking angler. Mark brockett. I was pegged next to him on the bream pegs at the hole in the wall section at Alperton on a winter league practice. I had set up my choopy rigs and went fot a chat with Mark. he was just setting up a canal wand with his new idea an olivette instead of a bomb. how i laughed. Five hours later Mark five bream and me nil bream. mark now lives in Thailand so a great talent was lost to match fishing.
