Report:
The first real hard frost of the winter along with a strong and bitterly cold NW wind killed sport for most anglers and, with most bite-less only three weighed in. No-one on the car park bank had a bite!
On peg 7 (the outstanding peg this year) Terry Sanderson used his bomb and pellet skills to good effect to add carp to his nets regularly all match to put a tremendous 92-06 on the scales.
On peg 9, Long Eaton’s Chris Price fished pole at 13m with corn to catch a mixture of bream and small carp for 34-06 for second place, John Adamson taking third with a three carp catch for 12-00 from peg 13, all on method feeder.
Once the fish acclimatise they are expected to spread out over the whole lake again.
