Report:
On a hot and mainly windless day with cruising carp all over the lake, Bruce Robinson (peg B17) used “mugging” tactics to great effect, and alternating punched bread and pellet he “picked off” big carp (3 of his fish weighed 46-00) throughout the match for a whopping 233-00 and a clear win.
On the opposite side of the Lake John Adamson (peg A5) and Andy Findlay (A9) took the next two places, both fishing method feeder to the island, John’s 143-04 taking second place to Andy’s 87-12 for third, Jim Innes close behind with 86-04 from A20 alternating pellet waggler and bomb.
