Report:
After a week of frosts the fish had spread over the whole lake again and every single competitor hooked carp.
Sean Greenfield (peg 23) started on bomb and pellet but a switch after an hour to method feeder transformed his match as he caught odd big carp through to end with 8 fish for 64-06 and a clear win.
On the opposite bank on peg 6, Tony Lamb cast a bomb into calm water near the island, and by switching between bread, wafters and corn he caught 7 carp for 54-08 and second place.
Paul Twigg (peg 21) also had a slow start. Switching to pole and pellet he caught 4 big carp then added some other fish on bomb and pellet for 42-14 and third place.
