me to bremes, maybe one day our lot won’t mention the war when we are about to play them, maybe we should have enlisted the yanks in our effort to win against the germans, as for the deigo’s well do you really want that sangria swigging lot to win? :o)

A crap idea the Yanks would probably side with the Germans. They wait to see who is going to win and then join towards the end.~naughty

Spain looked a much more complete footballing team with Pedro in the side instead of Torres.

Torres looks like he’s played in the Sky league for too long and doesn’t have the technical ability to gel with the rest of the team.

Not the spectacle we all wanted to see……. the Dutch saw to that…… and not the greatest world cup ever either, I hope FIFA go back to using a “normal” ball and stop meddling with trivial things like that, and concentrate on the things that really matter……like using technology to help the officials enhance their performance…… Howard Webb could do with some help for a start!

Biggest loser must be that fat ba^^&rd on ITV from Gavin and Stacey who is toe-curlingly awful, you just wish the programme would end to spare his misery.

Undoubted winner and comedy revelation of the tournament is Mr Ray Parlour on the highbrow radio station known as TalkSport.

On first hearing I wrongly assumed that this was some sort of spoof in the Chris Morris mould, but it turned out that it thought it was a proper radio station. It’s over-populated with cockneys and scousers, including one extra special idiot who blathers away mid-morning. Since I’ve discovered that they are serious about themsleves I haven’t been able to stop laughing.

Good observation CR!!! we listened to a few matches at work and we were trying to work out who the dodgy cockerny geezer was because he sounded so funny, we came to the conclusion that the cockerny affliction is not conducive to good radio!!!
