Looking for some info please lads, fishing the open next week and never seen the place before.

Depths, species, rigs needed etc.

Not fished there for a few years but it’s your typical canal style lake.
Carp + Carp + a few bigger carp!

A guy at my work fishes there and it supposed to be pretty good on it. I’ll see if I can catch up with him and get more info. He’s called Gareth Watson from what I recall. Works a different shift to me.

fished pond 4 mike at the weekend and if you are fishing the open thats the pond you will be on.
caught tight over on pellet, then came inside on paste late on it was solid,i had been having a look all match without a bite then they turned up in numbers
talking to some of the lads after it seemed that most pegs came alive late in the match ,the lad who won it had a spare peg to his right and caught in front of that tight up to it. .pond 4 has had a good tidy up and is a really nice looking pond i had two feet across 4,5 down the middle and 2 feet inside some of the fish go big in here you have been warned.the fact that they can turn up late and are big fish means you are never really out of it.
i am back on for the open the week after this so let me know how you go on.
