TF_punchcrumbAngling times have done us again why dont they go into politics ?
Can anyone think of a use for bright flouresant oops spell check required oh bum cant be bothered line.
Does anyone actualy read the weekly reams of pages devoted to there new brain wave [to fill more pages with stuff we dont give a stuff about] the COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP.
Does anyone actualy get there licence out each week and check to see if they have won a wondrous prize in the licence lottery?
I am sure some of you will join me in yet another light hearted dig at the once beloved Angling Times.
Others no doubt will jump to there defence £1.80 your avin a larf. -

MrFoxmanI think I will stick with my trusty fox micro plus xt line. I wouldn’t think twice about using ORANGE line, madness.
I don’t read much of the articles and all that stuff in the AT because it is of no relevence to me like the big carp stories etc. I purely buy the AT for the Steve Ringer articles and this weeks was one of the best imo. I also get it for the monthly match fishing uk magazine which is also very very good. You can’t complain at £1.80 if you ask me.

TF_punchcrumbIt must be well suss the AT usualy do at least a full page spread on how to use your wonderfull free gift even they couldnt come up with anything to say about orange line, or maybe the issue in question was already full of crap and advertisements~think
As for steve ringers bit in said issue its hardly earth shattering or a new tactic, using a bump bar and “decking” the bait to catch bream, tench and carp is it ?
OK i respect Steve as A commercial angler but i think even he is running out of ideas for his column.
Maybe Steve could do us a write up on the best uses for orange line. -

MrFoxmanYou may already know everything Steve said in the article but some people may not, that’s what the aim of articles are… to teach people things they may not know. I say keep up the great work steve.
Steve, if you don’t mind saying what floats were you using that was shown in the article?

TF_carpmagicParticipantFoxman, the floats were a wilky diamond then another wilky pattern which he uses at the Glebe.

molehillOne good use for it is….the slidin knot on your clip when feeder fishing for carp. When you have unclipped with a big fish the colour orange will be easy to pick out as it comes back threw the rod rings!!one spool should last several lifetimes lol.bargain ~sick

TF_geepsterParticipantExactly Molehill – one spool will cover all the anglers in the county won’t it? LOL
