I have noticed that when I click a link on a thread, instead of opening a new tab in my browser (Or a new window) it uses the same tab I use to look at TF…

Is it not possible for you to change the settings of the forum, so that by default it chooses to open a new tab or new window in the users browser when links are clicked on, so that we don’t have to come back to the site again after looking at the link?

Before anyone says its my settings, my settings in all the browsers I use are set to open a new tab, and its only on this forum that it uses the same tab… the other forums I visit open a new tab…

        :o)

I’ll look – I’ve never seen that option in the admin.

Right click on the link and select “Open in New Tab” simple really, isn’t it

The links all open in a new page for me

I agree with deeman – right click, Lee, and then you can choose to open in a new tab or window.

Nice point Lee. ~clap Certainly took out Total Fishing when I clicked on Fishyworld. Yes, you can right click and open up that way but as Lee says, you shouldn’t have to, most other sites open a new tab.

I could right click, but its a nuisance ~naughty

                      ;o)

If its not possible, then fair enough, but this is the only forum I use that doesn’t open links in a new tab/window (according to the users settings)
