        REPORT

MOLANDS Molands has been in terrific form this week considering it is December. Carp to 22lb and F1’s to 6lb have featured in nets to over 90lb. The bigger F1’s are coming out on a lot of pegs with fish around the 3lb mark common. The top tactics have been waggler and pellet fished tight up to the island, maggot feeder and pellet feeder with these fished three quarters way across the pool with maggot, punched bread and 6mm pellets the top baits. Best pegs 2, 4 – 8, 12, 15, 19, 33, 43 – 48 and
        58 – 60.

GEARYS Another pool in great form with nets of carp to over 80lb and also big bags of skimmers to 45lb. The top tactics for carp are the bomb with 8mm pellet or punched bread and this is accounting for fish to 17lb. The skimmers are coming to the waggler and maggot or pole fished caster and worm. Top pegs are 7 – 15, 18, 27, 31 – 33 and 36.

LITTLE GEARYS Surprisingly tough this week with top weights of around 50lb but the F1’s have slowed down and it has been the carp that have been making up the bigger parts of the catches. Long pole with pellet, waggler and pellet or a maggot feeder have all caught fish with the better nets coming to those anglers that switch and try various tactics. Best pegs are 5, 7 – 11, 13, 15, 21 and 26.

GRATUITIES It has been a quiet week on Gratuities with only a few anglers fishing but they have been catching and pegs 1, 8, 9 and 11 have all seen a few carp being caught. Pellet or punched bread on the waggler or expander pellet on these pegs has been working.

WILLOW Pegs 1 – 3, 5 and 6 are the best pegs on Willow at the moment with carp and F1’s providing the action with a waggler fished up to the island with bread or pellet and a small banjo or pellet feeder all fished tight to the island as far as you can get.

ANNIVERSARIES Fished a lot better this week with the milder weather making the fish feed all around the pool. Nets to over 30lb have been best but this is made up of plenty of smaller F1’s, roach and the odd tench. Pellet or maggot on the pole has been the best tactic with pegs 2, 6, 14, 15, 17 and 23 the most successful.

REEDY BAY/FIRST BAY/CRESCENT All of these smaller pools are giving excellent sport from F1’s, carp, roach, rudd and the odd tench. Float fished pellet, maggot, caster or corn have all been getting lots of bites on all of these pools.
