MOLANDS With the very changeable weather Molands was very patchy during the last week. The most consistent area has been around the Scarecrow Point with carp, F1’s and plenty of silver fish showing on pegs 42 – 48. Carp and F1’s are coming to the pellet feeder and pellet with the silver fish showing best to pole fished caster or maggot.
GEARYS A few carp are coming to bomb and bread tactics fished out to the middle stumps and fish to 10lb were caught on this tactic. Skimmers continue to give the best sport with fish to 3lb coming to expander pellet or caster fished over ground bait. 500lb of quality bream from 2 – 4lb were stocked into Gearys last week.
LITTLE GEARYS Match weights to over 40lb were caught but the fishing was a little patchy last week. Pellet feeder fished to the island has been the most consistent approach for F1’s and the odd carp. Best pegs are 7 – 12 and 25 – 30.
WILLOW Probably the best pool over the past week with F1`s, skimmers, roach and the odd tench and carp showing on the pole and F1’s and carp on the feeder to the island.
GRATUITIES Only a few anglers fished on Gratuities this week but reports were good with plenty of carp in the 1 – 3lb range caught with the top tactic used, pole and pellet.
