        REPORT

MOLANDS The newly stocked F1’s have been showing in numbers this week with pleasure anglers reporting nets of up to 50lb. They are moving around the pool in a big lump and if you are on them it is a fish a bung. Fishery regular Bert Sutton of Birmingham had a couple of good days on peg 54 catching over 70 fish on a small GB feeder with caster or red maggot on the hook. A few bigger carp were caught last week with pegs 58 – 60 the best area for fish to 8lb.

GEARYS A superb week with the bigger skimmers in the 1 – 2lb range feeding well and nets to over 40lb caught in matches this week. The best approach has been to fish double red maggot over ground bait on the pole at 10 – 13 metres. Carp are still showing from pegs 18 or 31 – 32 with a method feeder and dead red maggot has produced fish to double figures.

LITTLE GEARYS The most consistent pool at the moment with good nets coming from most pegs. Long pole and pellet at 10 – 13 metres is the best tactic taking F1’s, skimmers and a few bigger carp. A small pellet feeder fished out to the island is also accounting for a few fish.

GRATUITIES The bottom end of the pool from pegs 1 – 4 and 11 – 15 have been the best pegs with carp, tench, crucians and roach showing well this week. Waggler with bread punch or red maggot has been the best approach but pole and pellet also worth a try.

WILLOW Lots of skimmers and roach are coming to small expanders or pellet from all around the pool. F1’s and carp are showing around the reed beds on pegs 5 & 6 with corn, pellet and caster producing, fished on the pole and carp to 9lb have been caught in this area.

ANNIVERSARIES Good for skimmers to 2lb on pole and pellet with the lawn area and the top end the best areas. Maggot or pellet fished over ground bait is working best.
